 Signuum is led by founder and president Elizabeth Calhoun. Based on more than 20
years of experience, Calhoun created Signuum to close the talent and resource
gap that often prevents companies from developing and instituting successful human
capital strategies.
Before founding Signuum, Calhoun served as Principal at Sterling Partners, a private
equity company with over $4B in assets under management, where she developed
human capital best practices.
Previously, Calhoun was the Vice President of Human Resources for Littelfuse where she led
global human resource initiatives serving over 5,800 employees worldwide. Prior to Littelfuse,
she built her expertise in human resources at FORTUNE 500 companies including TRW, Colgate
Palmolive, Pepsi and Sears.
A member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Calhoun has served on
the SHRM Labor Relations Expert Panel, the Executive HR Network and the Human Resource
Management Association of Chicago (HRMAC) where she is a Board member and Treasurer.
She is a sought after speaker and subject matter expert about the strategic issues facing HR
professionals today.
Calhoun earned her M.S. in Industrial Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and
an undergraduate degree in Psychology and French from Grinnell College. She has completed
graduate work in management and administration at Harvard University.
